N.E.R.D - Nicolle Enterprises R&D - is a small venture studio. We build intelligent systems, run commercial experiments, and partner with leaders on the questions that sit above the roadmap. This post is a short orientation for anyone who has just found us, and a marker for what the Insights section is for.

What this section is for

Insights is where the working notes live. Not press releases. Not motivational LinkedIn carousels. Short, opinionated pieces on what we are seeing as we build with AI, work with data, and try to make commercial systems behave better.

Expect three kinds of post:

• Field notes - what we learned shipping a thing.
• Frameworks - the mental models we keep reaching for.
• Provocations - short pieces designed to challenge a default.

What we actually do

Three lines of work, all overlapping: intelligent systems (recommendation engines, RAG platforms, automated insight tools), commercial experiments (new revenue models, product pilots, lean validation), and strategic advisory (board-level thinking, CEO partnership, commercial clarity).

The takeaway
